A Brief Report from the Director of Parihaka 2008

Greetings friends,
It is my pleasure to thank you all for helping us achieve another milestone
in event history by supporting our January 08 festival event. Your contribution
made our event meaningful, vibrant and successful.
All of the festival organisers say ‘thankyou’ many times over and express
our gratitude to the volunteer workers.
Outcomes from 08
The data from our surveys clearly indicates a high degree of enjoyment and
satisfaction people experienced at Parihaka 08.
All the events within the festival went well and with only minor hiccups.
We have maintained the attendance level, improved the services and entertainment
and broadened the educational quality of events within the festival. The
unique Parihaka festival atmosphere has continued to grow. And in all these
area’s we have identified room for improvement.
We are ready to unfurl the banner for Parihaka 2009.
